Came across an interesting fact the other day.
It seems that R Kelly, with his record "Number One", has just reached the top ten of Billboard magazine. WAGRadio knows it isn't of a calibre good-enuff to give air-time to (I agree). But with this duet with Keri Hilson, Mr. Kelly has passed Nat "King" Cole on the Billboard magazine R&B all-time list. This ties him with Dinah Washington for eighth place. The-hardest-working-man-in-show biz is still #!. The R'n'B chart was initiated in 1942.
#26 "Soul Makossa" by Shovell & The Latin Hooligans...is this a remake/sampling of the Manu Dibango klassik???? I gotta check this out!
#18 "The Real Thing" by Vanessa Williams...haven't heard this particular mix but have heard the Thievery Corp. UK 12" mix of this...wicked!
