DJZigZag & Sweet Daddy Fonk Circa 1996 @ CHMB AM VanCity

FUNK SHUI - Coming soon to WAGRadio 180.2 FM / 1802 AM

Sunny "Sweet Daddy Fonk" Wong and DJZigZag bring the combined listening habits of more than one hundred years to funk up you shui.
The audience drinks from the pool of literally hundreds of thousands of hours spent by "...one old white guy and an elderly Chinese gentleman" listening to New World African Music.
Included in this mix are thousands of hours attending live music venues. Sweet Daddy Fonk and ZigZagZ remember Hank Ballard & The Midnighters' 1959 Seattle Eagles Auditorium performance plus James Brown's San Francisco Cow Palace appearance in 1971. Add to these, the recently seen live performances by D'Angelo, Don Byron, The Mad Professor, Chico Hamilton and Beres Hammond.
The two SoulMateS "Funk Shui" program highlights the music of their favourite artists including Jully Black, Kool & The Gang, The O'Jays, Michael Rose, Donny "Mr. Soul" Gerrard, The Temptations, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Gerald LeVert and Glen Washington - to name a few.
