NIECES & NEPHEWS AND SONS AND DAUGHTERS ASK US WHO WAS THE GREATEST STAGE PERFORMER IN THE LAST 60 YEARS - WAS IT MICHAEL ? ? - NUH UH . . . . JAMES !

RECENTLY, DJZIGZAG'Z NIECES ANNA MARIA and AMANDA D. - EITHER STATED THAT, OR ASKED IF - OUR BELOVED MICHAEL, WAS THE GREATEST DANCER AND PERFORMER OF ALL-TIME.

THEY POSED THE QUESTION TO ASSEMBLED FAMILY GROUPINGS AND DJZZ FOUND HIMSELF SAYING THAT, "ALTHOUGH THE KING OF POP WAS WONDERFUL . . . IF HE WAS STANDING IN FRONT OF THEM WHEN THEY ASKED IT - MICHAEL, HIMSELF, WOULD ANSWER THEIR QUESTION BY SAYING THAT THE GODFATHER OF SOUL - THE HARDEST WORKING MAN IN SHOW BUSINESS - MR. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - JAMES BROWN - - WAS THE GREATEST DANCER AND ENTERTAINER OF THE LAST FIFTY-PLUS YEARS" - - - AS VISUAL PROOF - THIS VIDEO FROM THE LADS ACROSS THE POND IN JOLLY OLD KNOWN AS MOFUNKONE . . . ILLUSTRATES THE POINT ! ! !

Thank you Miss A.
But to be fair - Michael J. added a flair and a style that was all his own. I mean, there are peeps in Texas that say Mr. Brown got a lotta his stuff, like the microphone handling technique you see in the video, from the fabulous Joe Tex (who was another stage master).
It's great that more film is coming to light. Watch for a wonderful clip from Finnish TV of Lee Dorsey that Van. B.C. DJ Ron Simmonds recently sent WAGRadio.

Thank you Anna.
Thank you Amanda.

To have seen James Brown as a twenty-five year old. . . was jaw-dropping. He was a masculine tight-toned set of muscles and funk. Driving the band to where he wanted to go. Jazz giants dug James' music. They shook their heads in amazement at the Southern earth that seeped up through the drummers kit. James was too funky for . . .
To see Michael doing James Brown moves as a child was grin-making.
We who loved James - loved Michael for digging our hero so much.
Maybe we can sum it up this way.
James could ask the question, "Is this Black enuff for you?", and nobody would get in the way of the obvious "yes".
Michael could, at times, easily ask the same question but his main audience would never think to ask it.
