* * * GROOVIN' BLUE XMAS RADIO SHOW 2018 No. TWO . . . IS NOW PODCAST . . . * * *
Former lead vocalist for the temptin' Temptations, brother Eddie Kendricks, leads off G.B. Xmas #2 with a Motown Seasons greeting. It just so happens that it's the storied history of New World African Christmas Music that's at the forefront this time of this, the second show, of a harmonious WAGRadio Yule. We all have such an investment in the music we love. Nancy Wilson, Yolanda Adams, Babyface, Charles Brown, Oscar Peterson, Big Daddy Rucker, Ella Fitzgerald, Ramsey Lewis remind us of Decembers past. There's an abundance (and a whole lotta stuff too - joke) by DJZigZag's 2nd favourite instrumentalists - the great organists - Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff and Joey DeFrancesco.
Once again we think of those who can't be at home with relatives and pals. We think of those who are in hospital or who are incarcerated and hope that our mutual love of music brings much-needed cheer.
